Just like the seasons of life change, to paint a true picture, every scene in the performance will change. For example, today may be the day when the leading actress is showing signs of humility; and tomorrow may be the day when they come out of the bag on you.
The Bible lets us know in Ecclesiastes 3:1-11, that everything has a season: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."
I don't know what season you are in or what scene is playing out in your life but one thing I know for sure; it will all be over after while. Don't let people and things get you so upset that you set yourself back. In other words, don't let the behavior of others cause you to pause the seasons/scenes because remember, when we pause and go back, we pick up where we left off.
We find ourselves reliving the scenes and the drama over and over. Let the actor/actresses in your life do what they do. Whether it is good or whether it is bad, they're role is to entertain you; and they get their reward by doing just that. But, keep in mind that does not last long. I know sometimes we feel the drama will never end. Trust me, if it has a beginning, it has an end. As believers we have to stay connected to the executive producer of our lives.
We have to be willing to trust God through the process. Embrace the performance from a Godly perspective, knowing that our God is omnipresent, present everywhere at the same time. He knows the purpose of every role in the performance. most importantly, He knows when the drama will end. Remember His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
This my sisters this is something to look forward to. But don't be confused, the promise is to give you an expected end, not that the end would come drama free. Stay focused on God and His promises to you, and remember every performance has an end.
