Looking back over my life, I can see there were times I found myself chasing after people who made conscious decisions to walk away from me. Stop judging. Many of you have done the same thing. Thank God I got to the place where it really doesn't matter. My only regret is the amount of time I lost trying to keep something God was trying to take away. Time I can not get back. Today God I publicly repent and thank you for not giving up on me!
It is my prayer that this post will encourage someone to process, analyze, and decide to trust God. When God determines something needs to be removed from our lives, He has a plan to replace it with something better. Let's look at it this way. We have a tooth ache. We continue to suffer from the pain because we are afraid to go to the dentist. It's gonna hurt we say. That's quite possibly true but when the tooth is removed, after a few hours or days, the pain is gone and now we enjoy the things we couldn't enjoy before.
The same holds true when God takes something away from us. Yes, it hurts in the beginning but as my pastor would say, "You will be alright when the swelling goes down." All things of God are good. He will never ever take anything away from us to cause us pain. He wants nothing but the best for us. Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."
So, I encourage you my sisters when you feel God shaking things up in your life trust God. Trusting God can transform your life. To trust God means to believe that He loves you. Lean on Him for help in every situation you face. Put Him first in your life, put your confidence in Him and trust Him with every aspect of your life.
