So here is my word for today. I honestly can not believe, nor did I ever believe in my little mind that I would be in this place in my life. God has truly made His presence large and He has manifested many of His promises in my life. I am working in a position my heart has always desired. Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
I am working at a place I have longed to be employed. Over the years, I would put my hearts desire in the hands of the Master. By activating my faith with my works, guess what? He came through again. James 2:20, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? " But you all know me by now. I don't just take anything, I had to try it for myself and guess what I did? James 2:18, "Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."
God is so amazing. Not only that, He has a given me multiple streams of revenue. Luke 6:38, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
And as I am writing this post today I am reminded of how God raised me from such a dark place in my life. Again, His promise has proven true. Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
As if that is not enough, get this. His light and His spirit is ever present. I can honestly say I truly feel God wherever I am; and I would not go anywhere He's not welcome. With all of this being said, I want you to know that God does not lie. If He told you something, on that you can rely. Give up trying to make things happen your way and in your time. Instead, take God at His word.
I will be honest and say, there have been times when I looked up towards heaven and said to God, "what's up? I know you see what's happening to me."; and God's response was, really Tonia? Remember what I said in Hebrews 13:5, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee"; and guess what, He has come through every time.
I am so excited about this season in my life, I can hardly stand it. Sitting here right now in expectation that He has something else waiting on me.
