I know sometimes we feel like nothing we do is good enough. Every time we attempt to move forward something or someone is there to give us a swift nudge backwards. If you feel that way, you are not alone. Trust me when I tell you, I have had and still occasionally have that same experience.Being human, sometimes it frustrates me to no end. But, one thing I have learned is no matter if my steps are forward, or something has pushed me backwards, I will keep stepping. Every step I take gets me one step closer to my destiny.
What I pray you get from this post today is whatever state you are in, it is enough. As long as you have faith in God and put everything in his hands, things will work out. I know someone is saying that I don't understand. I don't have enough of this or enough of that right now. I hear you; and I have been there and done that, which is how I can have this conversation with you today.
As we grow in Christ, we learn to live by faith and not by sight. We learn to trust God's word to be all that we need. For example, when we don't have enough money, we need to learn to believe and apply Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
When we need to be reassured of the fact that God truly does have everything we need, we should believe and apply Psalm 50:10, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills." Then begin to trust God to make a way.
I am happy to announce that everything you need is already inside of you. You just have to tap into it and begin to make it work for you. Just like you, I used to feel inadequate and undeserving; and still do sometimes. But, I want you to know that it was through God's word that I finally got to a place where I could celebrate me.
You see, as a child of God we do not necessarily need to be surrounded by a lot of people. All we need to do is be able to read, understand, believe, and apply God's word to our lives. He has already told us we are royalty. 1 Peter 2:9 puts it this way, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"
My heart's desire is that we will accept the blessing of royalty, and begin to walk in it. Think about it, when you come from a royal family, you do not have a need for anything. You always have more than enough. Therefore, I challenge you today to take your rightful place in the royal family. Claim your inheritance and begin to walk knowing that not only are you exactly what you should be right now in life but, God has positioned you so in him that you are more than enough.
