Sometimes in life we wonder why we go through the things we go through. While we're going through them, we have no idea that it is preparing us for something we can not see. For those of you who have been following me, you know there were many times when Satan tried to take me out. Being the coward he really is, he would use others to do his dirty work. My grandmother used to call these his "gofers" or his "imps".
Although it used to irritate me, I am happy to announce it has not become comical. See, when one person asks you a question; and you give them an answer, it amazes me how someone from the same group of people will ask the same question except they word it a little differently.
I will tell you that it does my heart good to be able to not only be victorious at the first attempt but the second one, is mighty sweet. When it comes to me, I think people sometimes think they can play me as if I am not smart enough to know what they're doing. For example, I had someone just today to ask me to locate some information. She and I looked for it at the same time in the same place; and guess what? We both came up with the same result.
As a result of this, she went back and secured a document that was supposed to reveal that I was wrong. Of course when she returned, and we looked again, the information was there. Her question then became, what did we do wrong? Why couldn't we find it the first time? And ya'll, yes ya'll know me. I looked at her like I look and I said, "we didn't do anything wrong." The information was reviewed again, the two of us together.
So, again me being who I am, I asked, "when was the information submitted." Ya'll know she said last week. I chuckled and said,"there is no way." I looked for this earlier today, you stood right here and we looked together. You went away and came back with two pieces of paper and when I look the third time, it's automatically there. Girl bye!
What's happening now is they're feeling a sense of urgency and looking for someone they can blame for dropping the ball. Guess what? I have been here before and little do they know it won't work. It didn't work last time and it won't work this time. Therefore, when you find yourself in a murky situation just think about the previous experience you had; and remember if God did it before, he can do it again. Think on how he helped you maneuver through the mud wearing white pants and coming out clean as snow.
Situations like this used to make me mad. But thanks to God I can look back and not wonder but know exactly how I made it over.
